Our Girls Are Being Left Far Behind heart_broken

The ambitions of our girls in Kilifi County are dying untimely, yet avoidable deaths. This photo-documentary series highlights the story of how girls in Kilifi County get into and remain trapped in a vicious cycle of teenage pregnancies. These pregnancies lead to significant consequences, including dropping out of school, a trend towards early marriages and a broader sense of disfranchisement among the affected girls, shaping their lives forever.

This project aims to highlight this critical issue by taking the audience through the lived experience of a young girl named Kadzo - scroll through the gallery to uncover the story.
We are raising awareness of this issue to stakeholders who are addressing challenges faced by girls and young women in rural places, so that they use this to inform their interventions.
