The Coast Collective Kenya, also known as The Creatives’ Association of Malindi, is a network of local creatives from Malindi dedicated to professional growth through skills development, collaborations and networking. As the first of its kind, we aim to strengthen our creative community and increase its visibility.

Despite Malindi’s appeal as a tourist destination with a vibrant ecosystem of hotels and businesses, local creatives barely benefit from the industry. Jobs go to better-equipped, more exposed and more visible competition from big cities like Nairobi and Mombasa.

To address this, The Coast Collective is bringing local creatives together, organising capacity building training, arranging networking events and fostering collaborations amongst our members and other creatives from different parts of the world.
